Maybe it hasn't been in this space, but certainly among my friends I've made no secret that Nickelback isn't one of my favorite bands. But I gotta tell you, their latest cut, "This Afternoon," is pretty catchy.
I grew up in the Midwest and spent some time in Texas. And as much as I beleive "California Gurls" is the perfect sound for San Diego, I imagine that "This Afternoon" fits quite well for a backyard, Missouri barbecue.
And the video for that song ... wow. Now that must have been a interesting casting call.
